Whew!

I have no idea where this week has gone too.

It just raced by like a ferrari on a formula one race track and here we are on Sunday evening, again ensconced on the couch, fire blazing and belly full. I can't tell you what happened this week because of it being such a blur, I don't really remember but what I can tell you, is that I have officially entered my first short story competition. Thank you to all of you, who read it and gave me your opinions, I really appreciate it. Now, we wait and see if anything comes of it...

The second thing which happened this week - yesterday at 5.30ish to be precise - I bought my first down duvet. @Home were having a special on duvets and pillows and so I decided that it was high time to purchase a new snugglier version of my old duvet. Last night was a very warm and cozy sleep. Now, just to get some new covers!

I also went on a small shopping spree and purchased some winter gear, including a gorgeous purple mid length coat. I just wonder if it will be cold enough to wear it at some stage?!

Today, we ended up going for an impromptu game of putt putt! We originally went to the Blue Train - Bean has been badgering us to go for a train ride- and today seemed the perfect opportunity to do it. Her cousins had joined us for the morning and when they noticed the putt putt course, well, that was it and there we were. Then delivered them home and were invited to have lunch with the family, so nice when one doesn't have to cook, when one was supposed to, unexpected pleasure! Afternoon snooze, Bean in bed early, tomato and lentil soup for supper and a lindt slab for afters, all in all, it was a good and pleasant day!

Her word while taking the photo was 'BOUNCE'!
Concentration levels are high at this point

I hope all of you have had a good weekend, or at least one good day this weekend and are ready for the week ahead...

Yes, pls keep us posted re the story.

I simply wouldn't survive without our down duvet and feather pillows. It's so cold here. Add brushed cotton sheets and you're in heaven (well almost).

Love that pic of Bean. It's gorgeous xx
