It got me thinking as too what type of an -aholic I am, and without a doubt, I am a Bookaholic. I have discovered recently that when I am in a not very good frame of mind, OR feeling absolutely fine OR somewhere in between OR just fancy an outing down to the shops, my first port of call is the bookshop.

There are three particular second hand bookshops that I frequent - 2 in the vicinity and one in Tokai , which I don't get to very often but is my favourite out of them all. I am also a large fan of Exclusive Books, Wordsworth and Bargain Books. The first two are always great for finding out the bestsellers and new releases. Bargain Books is great for their sales, and one can pick up a pretty good bargain if you look carefully.
But apart from the nitty gritty of my preferred bookshops, the reason why I think I am a Bookaholic, is because in the last 4 months I have bought 10 books. (Granted I am sure there are many out there who buy more than that, but considering that my book buying fund has been largely nonexistent this year, I am rather impressed. When the bug gets bitten, the bug goes shopping. And for small amounts of Rands too.)
Check out my list:
Yesterday, popped into Wordsworth and found

On top of those, I was given Cloud Atlas - David Mitchell for my birthday and not to mention the countless library books I have stashed under my bed, including On Beauty - Zadie Smith.
(And for other bookish news, head on over to The Book Club Blog)
I would of added personal photographs but the idea of this post only arrived this evening so alas, too dark to take photos.
So, come on, fess up, what type of -aholic are you?
