There are many things that I would like to change this year but I know what I am like. I start a project and if it doesn't interest me, I don't follow through. This is something that I would like to change, hence my writing here. Somewhere to document my findings, my interests, my decisions, goals, resolutions and follow through.
I have just finished reading The Happiness Project, which I started last year MARCH! and it has some simple steps in finding happiness, or creating happiness rather or even, just feeling happier.
I am not particularly unhappy, but I do feel like there could be a little more growth in some areas, some more dedication in others and a general sense of using my time wisely.
So, first up, is Operation Grey Hair.
I am prematurely grey. Not yet 40 and my entire head of hair is generally more grey than a lovely rich brown colour I had for many years. After doing some research I attribute this to:
a)genes
b)lack of vitamins and minerals in my diet
c) not eating right for many years and
d) smoking. Yes, I know gasp horror, I am or should I say was a smoker for a very long time. I am glad to say no longer (but that is another post all on its own).
This is what I am going to do to see if I can reverse the signs of ageing
a) drink green juice every day
b) up my veggie intake
c) take a Vit B complex tablet
d) eat as right as I possibly can manage
While this is just one project I am aiming to do there are others. And this is a good a place as any to document.
a) set aside at least 30minutes a day where I play with my daughter with no 'no's', interruptions and to be present in that time. To revel in her company.
b) to do more research on body related matters
c) to be more consistent with my eating, forming healthy habits and sticking to them as much as possible! (this is one of the more difficult things on this list)
d) Wake up 15/30 minutes earlier in the morning
e) to finish all tasks that can be done the night before, the night before.
Today is Sunday and no green juice has been ingested yet, OGH starts Monday morning!
Here's to me!

My operation grey hair had me hitting the box (Lorel) at 19 and I have not stopped since.... I do notice it is worse though when my diet is bad - if i let it grow out enough to see. I colour it at least every 3 - 4 weeks. I would have been white at 35.....
