New Shoes

This may be a strange thing to document but I wanted to jot this down.

Today, Bean and I went in search of a new pair of boots for Winter, for the last two years she has had water boots aka wellies and fluffy boots aka ugg type boots but I have noticed that lately she walks terribly in her ugg boots. So not good for little growing feet hence the need for a new pair which could help her walk better. Hopefully.

So, I went to Woolies first as I like their range of Walkmates but alas, the shelves were bare, clearly I was not the only one on this mission. I did however look at the other boots and Bean tried on a pair. I wasn't a great fan as they were too pointy in the front, but luckily her toes were uncomfortable in them.

Beans words to me on these boots: they pinch my toes but I really like the long ones as they keep my legs warm. 

Next stop, Ackermans, where they usually have a good range of boots for littlies, we found two pairs.

these, which were quite funky but when she saw

 these cow girl boots, first word was 'Awesome!'

So after trying them on about 5 times to check that her toes were fine, that they were comfortable and that she really did like them And quickly going up to Naartjie to check their range before buying, we ended up getting them.

And they go perfectly with her pink cowgirl hat

And the reason why I wanted to document this? Well, doesn't she look all grown up in these boots? And gorgeous to boot too;-) My little big girl who is growing up so very quickly and has now got 'grown up boots'. I remember when she was teeny tiny and I was buying her shoo shoes! 

How quickly the time does fly!
