Sunday morning hike

We went walking this morning and it was Awesome! I haven't been up  the mountain in yonks and I have missed it.

 I have decided that this is going to be a regular occurrence now that Bean is older and can walk without too much fuss! Next time though, more food and regular stop breaks in order to go further. She did really, really well though can't say that it is going to be her favourite thing, this walking up the mountain thang, but as I said, we are going to do it more regularly, hopefully once a weekend so will see how she copes.

Dad is also going to have to take it slowly and get his knees geared for more walking ( I have suggested that he does some leg work on the Pilate's chair in order to strengthen up...)

I took so many photos but half of them didn't come out so well, so I am just going to put some up here, which I really like.

And after our walk, I was ravenous! And so was every one else so we went to Lola's in Town for breakies. Totally delicious! I had sweetcorn fritters with herbed cream cheese, bacon and salsa and avocado and an orange, carrot, apple and ginger freshly squeezed juice. Yum! If we only go for walks just so we can have breakfast there, that will also be perfectly fine with me ;-)!

In fact, if you are in Cape Town and you are looking for good breakfast type food, good coffee or juice? Definitely pop into Lola's, its been around for many, many years and still going strong! You won't  be disappointed.
