I trust you all had a love filled day, well, if you listen to the radio at all, I am sure that you all must have felt inundated with love songs...
I don't normally celebrate Valentines day, I do think it is a marketing ploy and to me, the best gifts are the ones that come from the heart, though a slab of chocolate lindt never goes amiss! But this year, I received a mixed CD, from Bean. They made them at school as Valentines gifts and I have to admit to having a little emotional moment. You see, I have never received a mixed CD/tape/MP3, you get my gist. And I just felt all sort of glowy inside. I listened to it, and of course, it is filled with love songs, music I really am not that fond of, but forever the songs will be imprinted on my heart. Bean's first Valentines day and she received a kiss!A kiss from one of the boys in her class and it really was too sweet for words. As well as a teddy bear and a tube of pink smarties(from me), because as she says 'pink is my favourite colour, mom!'.

We don't really fuss about Valentines either...DH spoils me all year round, so I don't really worry about it.
