Oh my word, it is the 4th February! This year has barely started and it is already racing ahead without a thought. One of my goals for this year was to be more regular with my blogging, clearly that hasn't happened yet but I do mean to, lets see how Feb goes....
As for the last month, the beginning of January saw me feeling rather blue and lost. I am not really a fan of new years as it just makes me think. 'here we go again, same stuff different year' and it is not helped by people being all sparkly and excited and full of plans of the new year. Luckily this only lasts for a couple of weeks until I find my groove and then all is well in my world again. Thank goodness! Does anyone else ever feel this way? Or is it just me?
Work wise things are going well, debt is slowly being paid off and there are funds in my bank account with a regular weekly teaching schedule which keeps me going.
Family wise, all well there too, thank goodness. Bean is growing up far too quickly and I can just see what she may turn out like as a teenager, stubborn, just like her mom and zesty just like her dad. She is in the big class at school and is absolutely loving it. Considering she is a year younger than her classmates, she is handling extremely well:-)
News of possible interest: We will most likely be moving out of our house and finding somewhere to rent either of the same value or something less. Our rent has increased by 10% this year which I personally find just that little bit too much to be paying. We are working towards buying a house in two years. In order to do that, we need to spend less money not more!
Remember I said I wanted to go overseas with Bean? Well, that looks like it will most likely be happening at the end of August! We will go for a few months, an extended holiday, travel holiday and The Man will stay here, unless he decides otherwise, but so far that is what is most likely happening. This could very well change...
I am in two minds to buy a Pilates Wunda Chair. My thinking is that if I buy one now, then when I get back from the UK I will have something to earn an income with as my job is not secure if I leave and come back. What do you think?
P.S. Please head over to The Book Club Blog for a book drive which needs some help in getting it going but it is a wonderful initiative!

Love the pic of Bean and G.
Why don't you buy the chair with the funds you earn in the UK? Or see if you can buy it there and bring it back with you - would that be cheaper maybe?
I must say this year started with a bang for me and i've hardly stopped to breathe. Oh to be on holiday again.
Yes, I'm sure that Bean is going to be a challenging teenager (remembering what her mum was :)

Sounds like you are just doing fine! And so is Bean
