A stargazing adventure

 Hello world! So, here I am again, I decided that I wanted to carry on blogging.( I would like to go private again though so if you are interested in reading me again, please let me know, I do have some of your email addresses but let me know if you are still interested) But I do know that it won't be a regular regular occurrence. I am going to aim to post something at least once a week but if I don't I am not going to beat myself up about it either. I am not a 'sitting in the front of the computer' lover. I get bored, and would much rather be reading a book but I do miss writing here.and I like having a space to show my photos.  Sitting in an album on the computer is not quite the same, so, I am back and here is what I have to show you:

This weekend Bean and I went to Sutherland with some friends to visit Southern Africa's Largest Telescope. It was a fabulous weekend away! The guest house that we stayed at was called The Velvet Olive, which for some reason, makes me think of the velveteen rabbit. Must be the co-incidence of similarity of names;-) The weather was good, the company was great and the quiet was perfect. Must do it again!

It was a lovely weekend and Bean had a ball. We didn't get to see the stars as it was cloudy on the night we went for the tours, but we will be going back again, this time with my sister and her family!
