Veggy day

So, after a busy busy week and busy busy day yesterday - up before 6, finishing baking, off to work to teach Pilates and then provide relief via massage for a client, back home to prepare for a birthday party and then the house was filled with guests and happy children for two hours. By bed time last night I was officially knackered, and had a wonderfully early night!

Today, has been a clean up and cook day. I had an itch that needed to be scratched cooking wise and so cook I did. I baked some bread, totally delicious and easy to boot! I have homemade burgers waiting to be fried up together with some battered onion rings and peppercorn sauce and napoleatana sauce bubbling on the stove.

The smells are heavenly and my stomach is really feeling the need for some filling up. But, the rest of the household is sleeping so that will happen a little later. I just need to decide what to make for pudding! Considering I still have a chunk of birthday cake which needs to be eaten up I shouldn't really be making any more pudding like food, but I have never really bean a cake eating person. A chocolate slab, yes!

Life is a bit crazy right now, there seems to be something happening or need to be done or something that the time to just sit and be is very limited, hence the veggy day today. I plan to watch a movie this afternoon and switch off this old brain of mine but before I do that, I just have one more thing to say:

I am completely blessed in my life. My friends and family are treasures that I never expected to find. Thank you to each and every one of you and to you, my cyber readers because without you, who would this blog be?
