Today, being Sunday and all, I decided it was time to hang my three mirrors I received as a birthday gift from a very special friend. Now, not being the usual type to wield a drill - though I do have certain fantasies of my self being able to, a pink one at that but that may just be lesbian tendencies rearing its head - and considering the fact that I really cannot stand the noise it makes as it wields its way through a solid cement area, I requested the man to do it today.
After dashing off to Spiro's to get various nails and such like don't ask me what they are called, I wouldn't have a clue and collecting the said drill from his father's place, he arrived home with everything he needed to redecorate my lounge wall.
All was going well and Bean and I had our ears covered for the duration of the drillling when the man discovered that who ever had screwed the hooks into the back of the mirrors had put them in at a different place and angle to the other two. Now, the man being a Virgo, was not impressed with this at all and the fact that they were not done exactly the same as the other two at all. In fact, his words were 'this is ridiculous!' heehee, at this point, if I had been the one doing the work, would of walked away with 6 screws in the wall and one squiffy mirror. Luckily, the man is a Virgo and proceeded to fix it. (I have to admit to my title- it is handy having a man around the house)
I now have three rather fabulous mirrors hanging on my lounge wall and the man is feeling pretty pleased with himself.

And just because I was snapping away, I thought I would add my favourite part of my house at the moment. |
High above where little hands can reach. The two candlesticks were given to me from the man's great gran who died about a year ago. I really like them and the colours work really well together.
Not that it has any bearing on hanging mirrors but anyhoo...
here's to a fabulous Sunday!

LOve your mirrors, they look divine.
As does your shelf with all your goodies. Nice ecclectic mix of odds and ends that mean lots to you xxx
The mirrors look fabulous...and I agree I love having my man around the house for that very reason. Love your willowtree person.
Those mirrors are stunning, and your little arrangement.
