Friendships are beautiful things which need to be cherished, whether one sees each other every day or only once a month. The joy of spending time with someone is precious.
I have become a huge Adam Lambert fan, and I love his song 'Whattaya want from me?' In fact, I am listening to it as I type!
Sometimes our talents creep up on us, with no fan fare or warning. All of a sudden you are doing something you enjoy and are good at. Embrace it and go with the change.
Life may not take you on the path that you expect, it may meander and criss cross but the most important thing is to remember that life is short. That simple pleasures are usually the best pleasures and even amidst all the nonsense, that we cant make sense of, or feel as though a change needs to be made, that we are thankful for what we have in the here and now. Then we can make changes.
Love with all your heart. Even if it means loving when someone else is not loving you back in the way you expect.
Sing! Out loud! It is a great stress relief and reminds us that we like to be heard, no matter how out of tune we might be.
Don't overindulge in alcohol, its bad for the liver and as we get older, we suffer more and more with the hangover the following day/s...
Swing, I don't know if any of you remember what it is like to swing? Bean and I went to the park yesterday and we played on the swings, I loved it! It reminded me of how when I was little it was one of my favourite things to do.
Read a children's book. I read Pippi Longstocking last week, one of my all time favourites and it reminded me of the initial joy one finds in reading:-)
And here's to keeping the spirit, amidst my cold which has been lurking for the last two days and is finally taking residence in my head, eeugh! for the next week. Smiles to you all, here's to a great week.
