Stuff and cupcakes

These are the rest of my fruits of baking. Butterfly and flower chocolate cupcakes, Emma had seen when I had made them for Bean's birthday and requested the same ones. Quite cute, me thinks. (the first batch flopped, I was flabbergasted- my cupcakes had never flopped before! but it was due to using a different oven and the temperature was too hot so into my oven I made another batch, and sigh of relief, all fine)

Mini banana muffins for The Studio where I work. They taste pretty darn good.

Bean needs some new winter clothes so I went past A.C.Kerman's this morning and found the cutest little outfit. And on the fleece hoody it says 'my little cupcake' . Thought it was rather apt considering that every time I make a batch of cupcakes, Bean shouts, my cupcake!

And little pink ugg boots to go with. Just too cute! I so couldn't resist. Now, I just need to wait for pay day so I can return to Mr A.C.Kermans and put some money into his account for some more winter fashion items for a 2 year old.I have to admit that I am really enjoying the grey rainy beginnings of Winter. I know it probably wont last long, but for the moment, it feels like a new beginning. I'm sure, come a couple of months from now, I will be begging for sunshine...

Change of subjects, head on over to The Book Club Blog for an Early Christmas idea. If you are interested just leave a comment.

And now, I'm off to make some soup for supper as this is so indeedy soup weather. Mmm, with some crusty bread laden with butter. Hungry already...

I found out last year, while comparing prices, that Mr A C Kerman is not so cheap anymore. Woollies, if you choose wisely, cost the same, BUT the quality with lots of washing is better for sure. She looks darling though.

I agree with Cat. Have found the same, altho I have found that even Woolies quality is a bit dodge. Pick n Pay does it for me at the mo, they have the cutest goodies.

Soup sounds yum. Now if only i could get DH to make some for supper ....
