Isn't it fabulous when one receives a blogger award, out of the blue? It manages to make one feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The thing is, I didn't only receive one award, but two! So, am feeling all special.

As for other news:

* it is extremely hot today!
* it is my birthday soon soon, like in 4 days time soon!
* i am having a party, so if any of my cape town blogging buddies would like to pop in, let me know and i can send you details
* the reason why we didn't get the flat we wanted was because my car broke down the very next day
* things are a changing and its all good

and i think there was more, but the heat seems to have taken away all relative thoughts and am focusing on the cool blue water of the swimming pool calling my name...
